The choir started in May 2013 and was initially formed to be part of the ‘Now is the Time – Let Freedom Ring’ performance at the Harrow Arts Center in November 2013. This was a special piece composed by Denys Baptist to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Martin Luther King speech.  It was performed in conjunction with Tomorrow’s Warriors and part of the London Jazz Festival.

Performance opportunities include an annual concert; community Choir Festivals most notably in Stratford-upon-Avon; community events in London; parties/celebrations; church services etc. In 2017 we took part in the Voices Now choral event at the Camden Roundhouse and more recently we sang at a celebration church service in Central Hall Westminster and at Windrush Day on the 22nd June 2019.

Rehearsals are held weekly on a Wednesday, 18:30, October to April at the Harrow Arts Centre, 171 Uxbridge Rd, Pinner, HA5 4EA and May to September at the Green Pavilion in Harrow Recreation Ground, HA1 1PB.  Parking is free at both venues.  For more information please   Get in touch!
